Training that builds trust
Founder & Head Trainer, Senshi Dog Training
My name is Win Prue, the founder and head trainer of Senshi Dog Training. I have been working with dogs professionally since 2021, gaining hands-on experience helping both dogs and their owners live their best lives.
Dog training is no mere pastime for me; it is my passion, one I have been privileged enough to call my life’s work. I can personally attest that there is nothing quite like the bond that exists between a dog and their person. I strive to bridge the communication gap between dogs and their owners, thus building a stronger relationship for both.
I have volunteered with several rescues in the Valley, including AZ Mastiff Rescue, Desert Tails, and HALO. Rescue will forever hold a special place in my heart as both my personal dogs are rescues, and they changed my life.
Dog training is not linear. There are no quick fixes. Real progress requires patience and consistency. The reward is a well-balanced dog and an invaluable bond. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
Behind the scenes
A few everyday moments with Win and the dogs he works with.
Kind words from dog owners
Hear from families who have worked with Win Prue and experienced training built around their dogs and their lives.
He did not just train our dog, he helped our family become better dog owners.
Sonia HernandezRescue Cane Corso owner
I am writing to share my experience working with Win Prue and the impact he has had on both our dog and our family.
We brought home Sonia Jr., a 2-year-old Cane Corso who had spent about a year and a half in a rescue environment. While she came with a strong foundation from the work Win had already done with her, there was still an adjustment period as she transitioned into our home.
During that time, we had an incident that, looking back, was due to my own lack of understanding, not her being a bad dog. What stood out immediately was how Win responded. He reached out, came to our home, and stepped in without judgment. There was no blame, only guidance, correction, and support.
He took the time to explain what was happening, what was normal behavior for a dog with her background and breed, and most importantly, how we needed to show up as owners. He did not just focus on the dog, he taught us.
That is what sets Win apart.
In my experience, not every dog trainer takes that approach. Some focus only on commands or quick fixes. Win focuses on creating understanding, structure, and confidence for both the dog and the family. He gave us practical tools, what I would call real life training, that we could apply immediately in our home.
Because of his guidance, our entire household felt more at ease. We became more confident, more consistent, and better equipped to support Sonia Jr. in a way that allows her to thrive.
His ability to work with powerful, intelligent breeds like a Cane Corso, while also connecting with and educating the owners, is something that cannot be overstated.
He did not just train our dog, he helped our family become better dog owners.
I would highly recommend Win Prue to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and effective dog trainer, especially for those working with rescue dogs or strong breeds that require structure and understanding.
His patience is unwavering and true at heart.

I have known Win for nearly 2 years now. We were introduced through a mutual rescue acquaintance. I was looking for a trainer that had experience in Cane Corso Breed. Someone who knows that balanced training is important. My male Theodore at the time was always friendly in public, but very protective in the home as he should be. Win spent over an hour slowly introducing himself to Theodore. By the end of the time my male was backing into for butt rubs. From that day forward Win was welcome to come into the house without my boy having to be wearing a muzzle when he visited. He has helped me over the 2 years with a multitude of Cane Corso pups and litters working with behavioral issues and learning basic commands and trusting people again.
He has a natural ability to read dogs, but also, he knows the importance of training the pet parent as much as the dog. He emphasizes how important the pet parent education is and always follows through and is available for questions or follow up. He has a positive energy that dogs feed from finding comfort by trusting him. His patience is unwavering and true at heart. He will do whatever is in his power to help a dog and their parents have a successful lifetime together, but he will not put either the dog or the pet parents in harm way and is understanding when telling the truth.
Win is an asset to any dog training program, dog parent and dog who is struggling or needs to learn proper skills. Win will always be in my dogs’ lives. I had to put my Theodore down, but Win made it a priority to come and spend time with him before that happened.
Yes. Rescue dogs are welcome, including dogs with fear, anxiety, reactivity, or confidence issues.
Most sessions are in-home or in real-world environments depending on the training goal.
